Mongolia and Cyprus Advance Ties
Mongolia and Cyprus sign on March 30 two separate MOUs on cooperation in stock exchange and sports, in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.
The sides also signed an intergovernmental agreement on mutual release of diplomatic and official passport holders from visa requirements.
“The sides will sign a MOU on cooperation in neurology and genetics in the nearest future” said a government official adding that there are more documents pending such as MOU on protection of cultural heritage, agreement on mutual protection and encouragement of investment and agreement on mutual exemption from double tax.
Mongolia and Cyprus established diplomatic relations in 1973. There are about sixty Mongolians studying and working in Cyprus.
