New center to train Morin Khuur players in Mongolia

Honored Morin Khuur player P.Temuujin and his brother P.Munkhjin have recently opened a training center for morin khuur players and singers of throat songs and long songs, calling it Urlakhuin Tankhim.


They are sons of Honored Composer Ts. Purevkhuu. Temuujin has twice won the first place at the international Morin Khuur competition named after G.Jamiyan, and Munkhjin has won the first place in a contest for young professional Morin Khuur players.

Noted Morin Khuur maker D.Ulambayar, a teacher at the University of Culture and Art, B.Munkhtuvshin, a specialist at the Ulaanbaatar Culture and Art Office, D.Mendsaikhan, and others attended the opening ceremony of the center.
