M.ENKHBOLD MEETS UNICEF REPRESENTATIVE
The Deputy Premier and vice head of the National Council for Children (NCC) M.Enkhbold met Monday Mrs. Rana Flowers, the permanent representative of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to Mongolia.
Mrs. Flowers has pointed out their organization will back the public initiative on protecting children from possible risks and on preventing, issued by the Deputy Premier.
M.Enkhbold has said some works are expected to ensure a safety of horse racing children and to protect children from intolerable labor and negative influences of the mining sector. In frames of the initiative, organizational works have started through special programs.
He has said some NGOs, state organizations and media want to support this initiative and have established related memorandums. Besides, children will study skills of preventing themselves from any accidents and threats and of self-defense. The initiative will boost the children and families-targeted services, and a collaboration in ensuring the results will be developed, he said.
