CHF International is seeking an experienced Entrepreneurship and Innovation Specialist for the proposed USAID-funded Business Plus Initiative (BPI), a 5 year contract focused on supporting an enhanced role for the private sector in Mongolia's economic growth by complementing and supporting the Government of Mongolia's strategy to advance the following objectives:

- Implementation of Business Enabling Policies;
- Private Sector Investment Support;
- Financial Sector Deepening Support;
- Public Outreach and Performance Monitoring and Evaluation

The Workforce Development/Entrepreneurship Specialist will be responsible for programmatic activities related to establishing education-entrepreneurship linkages, promotion of small businesses, private sector strengthening, development of partnerships for entrepreneurship and innovation, and vocational training. The position will facilitate partnerships between Universities, private sector associations, and companies to increase and improve the local employment base.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in economics, education or related field
- 10+ years of professional experience with workforce development, vocational training, or education, with a minimum of 5 years in international development
- Experience setting up innovative partnerships between universities, companies and/or other organizations
- Experience working with mining and mining supply companies preferred
- Experience working with organizations on how to deliver entrepreneurship and business skills
- Previous experience working on USAID funded programs preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, required
- Regional experience strongly preferred
