Mongolian Standing Committee on Justice to work in Darkhan-Uul
The Chief of the Standing Committee on Justice, D.Odbayar, and MP B.Bat-Erdene reported to journalists what the committee had done during the Autumn session of Parliament.
It discussed 34 issues, 31 of them draft laws. A Government draft on Notary work had 26 articles and another draft submitted by MP Ts.Munkh-Orgil had 29.
The committee combined the provisions and Parliament passed them. The committee has a busy schedule until the start of the Spring session. It will work in Darkhan-Uul aimag in cooperation with the State Prosecutor General’s Office, and visit the Border Protection Unit in Khuvsgul aimag. It will also organize meetings with scholars and researchers to discuss amendments to the Criminal Law.
