GTSO Readies Rare Earth Transport Office in Mongolia

Green Technology Solutions (PinkSheets: GTSO) and Rare Earth Exporters of Mongolia (REE) are hard at work moving into their new rare earth transportation office in the Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator.

The two companies formed a joint venture earlier this month to procure rare earth mining claims and operations in the developing Asian nation.

Ulan Bator is Mongolia´s largest city and the financial and industrial heart of the former Soviet state. The new office is located in the northern portion of the city. Ulan Bator serves as a major transportation hub in the region and is connected by rail to the Trans-Siberian Railway in neighboring Russia. The joint venture plans to utilize that transportation infrastructure to convey Mongolian rare-earth mining products to the international Russian seaport of Vladivostok.

The office will soon be occupied by Dorj Atantogos, the joint venture´s new Director of Mongolian Operations, and Atarbold Chimedregzen, its new Mongolian Director of Shipping and Exports. Both are Mongolian citizens.

Additional personnel are currently being aggressively recruited to fill out the transportation office´s staff. For career info, please visit www.rareearthexporters.com/careers.html : .

The transportation office is a key asset in the joint venture´s plans to develop sources of rare earths outside of China for the U.S. and its allies. China currently produces more than 90 percent of the global supply of rare earth, and the communist nation's tightening grasp on these crucial resources is raising concerns in the U.S., Japan and South Korea over the continued security of supplies. Rare earth elements are critical to the manufacture of a wide range of electronic products from iPads to electric car motors and are a crucial component in the weapons manufacturing industry.

Earlier this week, GTSO announced that it approached freight services provider Russian Railways regarding the transport of rare earth ore from Mongolia to Vladivostok. Russian Railways is a major freight provider on the Eurasian continent, offering international freight services for ore and many other types of commodities. The company provides rail service traversing Mongolia from south to north, including passage through Ulan Bator.
