Encouraging Khongor results

Drilling by Voyager Resources at the Khongor Copper-Gold Porphyry Project in southern Mongolia has been encouraging to date, with all holes completed intersecting porphyry-style copper mineralization. Drilling will continue after a brief break, with further exploration planned to start once warmer conditions permit.Seven diamond holes have been completed and samples have been sent to a laboratory for analysis.1

Khongor is in the South Gobi Arc Terrain that hosts the world-class Oyu Tolgoi Copper Gold Deposit. It has a mineralized strike length of at least 1km from geological mapping and sampling that is broadly coincidental with a large Induced Polarization (IP) chargeability anomaly that extends for more than 1600 by 380 metres.

Previous drilling returned extensive zones of mineralization in diamond core drilling, including 50 metres @ 1% copper and 0.3 grams/tonne gold from 64 metres, and 70.3 metres @ 0.7% copper and 0.2 grams/tonne gold from surface.

Diamond core drilling has also intersected high grade structurally controlled quartz stockwork, that has returned 5 metres @ 2.6% copper and 0.87 grams/tonne gold from 44 metres, 14.1 metres @ 2.4% copper and 0.64 grams/tonne gold from 69.9 metres, and 9 metres @ 2.8% copper and 0.68 grams/tonne gold from 53.3 metres.

Extensive oxide copper gold mineralization has been identified at surface in trenching. Results include 18 metres @ 1.33% copper and 0.32 grams/tonne gold, and 18 metres @ 1.84% copper and 0.43 grams/tonne gold.

Voyager has an exploration target for Khongor of 100 million to 200 million tonnes @ 0.7% to 1.0% copper.

The company plans to begin a diamond core drilling program at the Tsagaan Gold Project this quarter. Drilling is planned to test intense polarisable zones within strong chargeability anomalies identified from a recently completed IP Geophysical Survey over the main anomalous zone.

Drilling is targeting stronger sulphide development to that intersected in previous drilling, where weak sulphide development is associated with gold mineralization that returned 17.9 metres @ 0.26 grams/tonne gold from 242 metres.
