WAYS OF REDUCING CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACT CONSIDERED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A second meeting themed “Reducing affect of climate change on Mongolia's agriculture, forest sphere, adaptation possibilities” is running on November 17-18.


It has been co-organized by the Ministry of Nature environment and tourism of Mongolia and German international cooperation's /GIZ/ programe “Climate change and biological diversity”. The meeting ia aming to consider ways of reducing climate change-originated risks and vulnerability of Mongolia's agriculture and forest sphere.

Foreign and Mongolian officials and researchers are discussing an influences of climate change on animal husbandry, farming, pastures, water reserves, forest sphere, and are seeking ways of reducing negative impact.
The gathered note that climate change has noticeably deteriorated the Mongolian climate and event tends to make it worse.


The meeting has been attended by 150 officials.
