MPP conference continues
The MPP conference continued on Monday with the election of party secretaries and members of the party’s managing council. An ethics rule was adopted as well.
MPP Secretary Ya.Sodbaatar told our correspondent that members also passed three protocols relating to economic growth, strengthening responsibility, and the election platform. The party has organized a campaign called “To Hear the People” in 21 aimags, 300 soums, and 150 khoroos of the capital’s nine districts. Citizens demanded that managing officials be held accountable for their actions. MPP members decided that party managers should serve citizens without wasting time. The party also decided to increase the number of women secretaries in the party.
The MPP already approved parliamentary election candidates and an election platform last spring. Therefore, candidates and platform issues were not discussed at the meeting.
