UNIVERSITY TO COOPERATE WITH RIO TINTO
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A cooperation memorandum has been signed between the “Rio Tinto holding” company and Mongolia's State University.
By this document, inked on November 28, the sides intend to implement cognitive programmes on nature protetion and to run socio-economy policies' researches, the Rio Tinto will invite experts to have run lectures and improve capabilities of scientists, researchers and teachers of the university, the latter will run long- and short-term trainings for the company's management group.
Other works are to realize projects and programmes to develop higher education and vocational training, for which the Rio Tinto will invest 110 billion togrog in five years to come.
