MONGOLIA-HUNGARY CONSULTATIVE MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A consultative meeting between Foreign affairs Ministries of Mongolia and of Hungary run on November 28 in Ulaanbaatar.


The meeting has been headed by D.Tsogtbaatar, the state secretary of the Foreign affairs Ministry of Mongolia, and by Hovari Yanosh, his Hungarian counterpart. Present have been B.Mandakhbileg, a vice director of European department of Foreign affairs Ministry of Mongolia and other officials, and Kushi Shandor, the non-resident ambassador of Hungary to Mongolia in China.

The gathered have exchanged views on the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Hungary, and on issues of mutual interest. They have considered ways of widening the ties, especially the economics cooperation, and stressed that it is vital to get prepared for the fourth meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economics cooperation scheduled in Budapest in 2012.

Hungarian side has expressed a willingness to continue an assistance in frames of the developmental cooperation, and to collaborate in the veterinary medicine, geology and water management.

Mongolian side has expressed a hope that the Embassy of Hungary in Ulaanbaatar will be opened in near future, for it is important to boost the ties and to support relationship between the two nations. To this, the Hungarian side replied that it will address this issue after having solved financial matters.

Then the sides have mutually noted that are ready to closely cooperate and support each other withing the UN and other international and regional organizations. The Hungarian side has said that will share its experiences in realizing the EU standards.

The sides have touched upon a matter on organizing a visit of the President of Hungary to Mongolia in 2012, and agreed to deal with it through diplomatic lines.

They have decided to meet again in Budapest next year.
