Standing Committee approves proposed loan agreement
The Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy discussed a proposed loan agreement between the Government and the Asian Development Bank to finance road construction in the western region.
Members approved further discussion. The USD 170 million loan has a 32 year-term at one percent interest. The Standing Committee on Budget and on Economics has also approved the proposal.
