Parliament to pass 2012 budget
Wednesday is the deadline for Parliament to pass the 2012 state budget. In its afternoon session, Parliament will discuss the budget for the fourth time, and is expected to approve it.
During its third discussion of the budget, Parliament reduced projected revenues by MNT 600 billion and expenditures by MNT 900 billion. Projected GDP has been reduced from MNT 18 trillion to MNT 16.4 trillion. The final budget projects revenues of MNT 5.8 trillion and expenditures of MNT6.3 trillion.
