Parliament to finally discuss draft election law this week
The MPP and DP caucuses are meeting on Monday to discuss a draft election law.
Speaker D.Demberel has said he would like to finish debate of the draft law and pass it this week.
Therefore, the parties’ caucuses will discuss the structure of electoral districts and attempt to reach a consensus.
If the caucuses resolve that issue, the draft election law is expected to be passed this week. The MPP caucus also will discuss the proposed 2012 budget and the Tavantolgoi deposit mine issue.
