Mongolian Artist Praised by Diplomats
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Mongolia joining the United Nations (UN).
S.Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia attended the 66th Assembly of the United Nation, a concert was held on October 27 at the UN in New York City.
Two-time state prize winner and composer N.Jantsannorov directed the honorary concert.
The Mongolian Horse-Head Fiddle Ensemble and conductor Ts.Batchuluun, along with Artists of the Mongolian National Song and Dance Academic Ensemble preformed for the delegates.
Mongolian traditional songs echoed through the General Assembly of the United Nations and there was tremendous praise from the diplomats for the artists.
During the concert they performed folk dances, contortions, throat songs and a collection of classic songs.
