FOOD SAFETY DISCUSSED AT CIVIL HALL
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A discussion ran on October 28 to consider the food safety in the Civil hall at the President. This action has aimed to focus on implementation of the clauses on ensuring food safety reflected in the altered last year concept of national security. Present at the discussion were representatives of the government, parliament, scientific organizations, as well as the public delegates, chaired by M.Batchimeg, an advisor to the President on national security policy. Positions were expressed over the issue by S.Lambaa, the Minister of Health; P.Altangerel, a head of the parliamentary Standing committee on environment, food and agriculture; D.Terbishdagva and G.Bayarsaikhan MPs. Some delivered reports such as Ch.Enkh-Amgalan, a head of the Food Production, Trade and Service Department of the Agricultural Ministry; R.Batsukh, a leader of the Academy of Anthropology and others.
