CURRENCY ISSUED IN CIRCULATTION REACHED OVER 600 BILLION TOGROG
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At the end of October 2011, currency issued in circulation reached 694.9 billion togrog, decreasing 10.3 billion togrog or 1.5 percent compared to the previous month, and increasing 232.7 billion togrog or 50.3 percent compared to the same period of previous year.
Loans outstanding at the end of October 2011 amounted to 5,221.9 billion togrog, up by 161.5 billion togrog or 3.2 percent compared to the previous month, and by 2,131.6 billion togrog or 69.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Principals in arrears at the end of October 2011 reached 71.0 billion togrog reflecting increases of 10.5 billion togrog or 17.4 percent compared to the previous month, decreases of 7.6 billion togrog or 9.7 percent against the same period of the previous year.
At the end of October 2011, the nonperforming loans over the bank system reached 347.5 billion togrog, decreasing 9.8 billion togrog or 2.7 percent compared to the previous month, and by 54.8 billion togrog or 13.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
