Adventurer named consul for Mongolia
A SCOT who organises expeditions to the land of Ghengis Khan has now become the Mongolian Government’s man in Scotland.
Adventure race organiser David Scott has been named as honorary consul for the Asian country and will represent their interests in Scotland.
Mr Scott, of Newton Mearns, has been organising treks in the Gobi desert and other parts of Mongolia through his company Sandbaggers for the past 10 years and has built up a substantial list of contacts in the country.
