WORLD BANK SUPPORTS PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ An agreement on non-refundable aid of USD 10 million has been established between the government of Mongolia and the World Bank (WB).
This agreement was signed on Tuesday by D.Khayankhyarvaa, the Minister of Finance, and Klaus Roland, the Country Director of the WB for Mongolia.
In conjunction with transmitting to the 12-year system of secondary education, a reform is needed in pre-school education of Mongolia. Thus the money of the aid will be spent for a project on supporting education for aged 2-5 children. It means that 37 kindergartens will be constructed in aimags' centers and in the city, and 100 yurt kindergartens will be created as well.
