SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON COSMOLOGY DEVELOPMENT HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A scientific conference themed "Contemporary cosmology-Mongolia" ran on Thursday in Ulaanbaatar on occasion of the 31st anniversary of first space flight of Mongolian.
Addressing the conference, S.Batbold PM said that Mongolia's becoming the 10th country in the world to send its person to space is a vital matter significantly contributing to cosmology development in Mongolia. "The Mongolia-Russia joint space program is the inseparable part of the Mongolia-Russia good neighborhood friendship," he added.

The Premier pointed out it is time to pay attention to measures for developing a cosmology and to raise a state support to this sector, and underlined a need to set up a national council on cosmology under auspices of the PM. He hoped that the scientific conference will release certain proposals and recommendations.
