Training of teachers begans
Last year Mongolia started to follow education standard of the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) in three secondary schools- “Shine Erin”, “Shine ekhlel” and “Temuulel”.
The government going to set up new program in total 31 laboratory school, including 21 aimags. To start new education program need to train teachers. Training for 300 teachers started yesterday at the “Shine Erin” school.
The Prime Minister Sukhbaatar Batbold, who initiated the project met with teachers. “Last sentury Mongolia successfully accepted Russian standard of education. Now time to accept international standard of education. Success of new project depends on you” said Sukhbaatar Batbold.
According to the Ministry of Education, culture and Science new project will implement till 2018 and in total 26,000 teachers will re-trained.
