FOREIGN MINISTER ADDRESSES MONGOLIA-GERMANY FORUM
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Accompanying the President Ts.Elbegdorj in his state visit to the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), the Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar addressed a conference of the Mongolia-Germany Forum held on Thursday in Germany.
Speeches have been also given by Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, a Deputy Secretary-General of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation, and by P.Ochirbat, the head of the Mongolia-Germany Forum (MGF).
The Foreign Minister reviewed his participation in the 8th meeting of the MGF for sharing issues on the bilateral relations and cooperation and a strategic policy on developing the mining sector, and underlined that the Mongolia-Germany ties gained big achievements in the comprehensive partnership. An official visit of the FRG Chancellor to Mongolia last year has significantly contributed to the bilateral relations, he added.
G.Zandanshatar expressed a hope that the President's state visit to Germany will open a new chapter in the bilateral ties' history. He sounded a message from the State Head to the gathered.
A former president of Mongolia P.Ochirbat has been chairing the MGF since its establishment. This forum is considered as one of the biggest podium to develop the Mongolia-Germany relations and cooperation.
