TS.BATCHULUUN SATISFIES CONDITION FOR GRANDMASTER
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A chess player of Mongolia Ts.Batchuluun has satisfied a condition to become a Grandmaster by achieving 2,503 points after an updated ratings of the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
Ts.Batchuluun has managed to gain his score thanks to winning a tournament held last year in Mongolia. The FIDE will grant the title soon to the Mongolian.
According to the latest ratings, an international master B.Gundavaa's rating has climbed to 2,502 points. Other Mongolians T.Batchimeg, a grandmaster, and G.Monkhgal, a FIDE master, have increased their ratings.
As of the country result, Mongolia has been ranked 62nd by the FIDE ratings.
