Signs memorandum in banking sector
Prime Minister S.Batbold’s official visit to Japan continues. Yesterday, March 12, 2012 held signing ceremony of Memorandum between Development Bank of Mongolia and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation of Japan. Memorandum signed by L.Bolormaa, Executive Director of Development Bank of Mongolia and T.Kitayama, President of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
“Cooperation with such major company such as Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation will open the door for investment. Mongolian and Japanese relationship developing in strategical partnership, this relation getting economic value. This event will play important role in two countries relation” said S.Batbold after signing ceremony.
“Mongolian economy is growing. Experts suppose this growth will continue next 10-20 years. Current time Mongolia is starting major projects which do faster this growth. We glad that we have possibility to cooperate with those big projects” said T.Kitayama.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is one of the biggest commercial banks in Japan with assets 1.4 trillion yen.
