RUSSIANS CREATING NEW TECHNOLOGY TO PRODUCE FUELS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Scholars from Siberia-based institutes at the Academy of Sciences of Russia are working out a new technology for producing two kinds of fuels-coal gas and smokeless coal, at an order of Mongolian side.
The scholars claime that their technology is friendly for environment and is cost-effective and that it would greatly reduce air pollution in Ulaanbaatar city. “A main raw material for this technology is coal, so this will be more than effective for Mongolia who has is rich in brown coal,” they say.
With help of the Russian side, the second thermal power station will transmit soon into a new regime of ecology, exploiting the new kinds of fuels.
