MPRP sets dates in early November for general assembly

The 7th primary conference of the MPRP that began on Tuesday has fixed the date for the party’s 26th general assembly. It will be held on November 4-6 and 801 members of the party will be eligible to attend. The primary units will elect 80% of them while the remaining 20% will be selected by the Managing Council. Around 80% of the entitled 255 members attended today’s conference which ended at 2 pm. Tomorrow’s meeting will review S.Batbold’s decisions on critical issues such as changing the name of the party and giving it a new ideological direction.
