CIMD to support "Beehive" program
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Head of the Presidential Office D.Battulga received Monday Mr. Uwe Kievelitz, head of the Returning Experts Program of the Centre for international Migration and Development (CIMD) at the German Technical Cooperation Society (GTZ).
Mr. Kievelitz mentioned that the CIMD has helped for 30 years many countries in returning their skilled experts. "Mongolia has big wealth and a bright future but has to correctly regulate its wealth," he said and expressed a willingness to help Mongolia implement the "Beehive" program through a "Bridge between Mongolia and Germany" NGO.
In response, Mr. Battulga said the Presidential Office fully supports this program that aims to bring back its skilled people living not only in Germany, but also around the world. "Mongolia urgently needs engineers of various spheres such as mining, road construction and energy, so we want to prepare and train our specialists in Germany that has big experiences in preparing engineers," Mr. Battulga stressed.
He said Mongolia thanks Germany's government for rendering a financial support to the "Beehive" program and expressed a hope that the program's money will contribute to returning the Mongolians home.
