Cabinet meeting in brief

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt made an introduction to the budget of the next year at the cabinet meeting held Wednesday. Then, the head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government Ch.Khurelbaatar gave a report on implementation course of national programs and projects by first six months of 2010.

Cabinet members got acquainted with draft amendments initiated by the State Head to the laws on criminal law, on criminal procedure, on implementing court decisions, on court, on emergency situation, and on civil registration. They decided to convey certain proposals to the initiator.

The cabinet discussed and backed in principle a draft amendment to the law on company, initiated by D.Zorigt, Ts.Bayarsaikhan, S.Byambatsogt and D.Baldan-Ochir MPs. The cabinet also discussed and backed in principle a matter on setting up a management council to perform a primary monitoring on a implementation of the National Developmental Strategies (NDS) based on Mongolia's Millennium Development Goals.

A matter was discussed on fixing a size of the payment for the state registration, and was decided to issue a governmental resolution reflecting proposals.

The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt was allowed to allot MNT 300 million from the governmental reserve fund to put into use in Ulaangom soum, Uvs province, a memorial complex dedicated to political figure of socialist era Yu.Tsedenbal. The Minister also took a right to sign an agreement on special loan for a project on construction of auto roads of western region to be implemented in a scope of the USD 300 million soft loan granted by China's government.
