MONGOLIA TO HOST NINE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS IN 2014
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet Saturday issued a resolution on organizing international tournaments for judo, freestyle wrestling, chess, tug of war, handball, speed skating and marathon.
According to calendars of the international federations of these sports, speed skating international tournament will run in February of the next year, the East Asian Judo Championship--in May, the Freestyle Asian Youth Championship, the Asian Tug of War Championship and international tournament for handball--in June, the "Chingis Khaan-2014" Judo Grand Prix-=in July, and the FIDE Women's Grand Prix--in August.
Obligations were given to Ts.Oyungerel, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, to place a financing in the 2014 state budget for running these events and to take measures for ensuring all preparation.
