Irregular session of Parliament scheduled today
An irregular session meeting of Parliament is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm today, September 26th.
Before the Parliamentary meeting the Standing Committee on Economy will hold a meeting to discuss the draft of the Strategic Investment Law. The irregular session meeting will start when the Standing Committee on Economy meeting finishes.
Wednesday`s Standing Committee meeting was to hold the first discussion on the draft of the Strategic Investment Law. However suggestions from the special task force had not yet emerged so the discussion was postponed until today.
The task force was made up of representatives from the political parties in Parliament who were appointed to discussed the draft law. The discussion continued for hours but there was still disagreement over some points. The task force agreed to form a consensus of their opinions before presenting suggestions to the Standing Committee.
MP B.Garamgaibaatar will introduce to Parliament the conclusion of the Investment Fund draft law made during the first discussion by the Standing Committee on Economy today.
