Construction expo aims to build the industry

An international exhibition and conference titled “Construct Mongolia 2013” will be held at the Children’s Palace in Ulaanbaatar on June 13 and 14, to provide an opportunity for sector officials and companies to meet and discuss ways support the expansion of the industry.

Participants at the event will discuss the policies, legal environment, investment and technology needs and other issues related to Mongolia’s construction sector.

The event is being held in view of the many large-scale construction and development projects that will commence this year. Giant energy and infrastructure projects have been planned across Mongolia, particularly in the southern region of the country.

The expo is being organized by the Mongolia Green Construction Council, with the goal of facilitating increased investment in the construction sector, ensuring the latest technology is available, and creating links between suppliers and clients.

The event will introduce the latest management approaches and technology, and will highlight the environmental factors that need to be considered in Mongolia’s construction sector, so as to ensure that Mongolia maximizes the benefits of construction projects while minimizing environmental and social damage.
