Peace medal presented to Resident Country Director of MCC
In Accordance with the President`s decree, the Head of the Office of the President of Mongolia, P.Tsagaan, presented the Peace medal to Robert Reid, the Resident Country Director of Mongolia for the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Reid was awarded for his role and real efforts in improving Mongolian economy and social life for many years as a part of the Millennium Challenge Corporation on Tuesday May 28th.
During the ceremony for the presentation of the Peace medal, the Head of the Office of the President, P.Tsagaan, stressed that “the Mongolian Millennium Challenge Foundation is a successful project that enriched bilateral communication between the people of Mongolia and the US.
Projects of the Mongolian Millennium Challenge Foundation in infrastructure, education and environment have played a great part in providing substantial economical growth.
Mongolians and Americans who worked together on the Mongolian Millennium Challenge Foundation must have leant much from each other.
I hope such projects will continue further. I want to thank Mr. Robert Reid for his successful work and efforts to launch these projects. I wish you success in the future.”
