Steppe singer arrived in Mongolia
Urna Chahar Tugchi landed in Mongolia on Monday May 27th.
The singer from Ordos, Inner Mongolia has arrived in Ulaanbaatar to stage her performance “Heavenly Bird” one time only to a Mongolian audience in the Central Cultural Palace at 8:00 pm on May 29th.
Urna met journalists after she landed. Steppe singer Urna Chahar Tugchi is to perform accompanied by an Iranian father and son and three musicians. The steppe singer promised the Mongolian audience that she would sing about fairytales and saga stories of her birth place Ordos on the stage.
Tseren Tours and the Goethe-Institute are organizing the performance along with the Arts Council of Mongolia.
Due to the performance, the Arts Council of Mongolia are to hold a free talk with the singer in the Red Ger Gallery of Khaan bank at 6:00 pm today, May 28th.
