OPERA SINGERS TO GATHER HERE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The 5th contest for aria and romance and the 2nd international contest for opera song named after Ts.Purevdorj, a Hero of Labor and People's Artist, will run in November this year in Ulaanbaatar.
It will be co-organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet and Mongolia's Union of Art Workers.
The contest has started a registration of participants from Mongolia and foreign countries. Main aims of the action are to develop classical art in Mongolia, enrich the repertoire of professional opera singers, improve their skills, give support for young singers, and to reveal the gifted ones.
