China Rainstorm Halts Beijing-Baotou Rail Traffic, Xinhua Says
A rainstorm flooded a section of the railway linking Beijing and Baotou city in Inner Mongolia and delayed 24 trains, the official Xinhua News Agency reported today, citing railway authorities.
About 12,000 passengers have been stranded, Xinhua said, citing an unidentified spokesman with the railway authorities.
