PRESIDENT LEAVES FOR LONDON
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Thursday morning, the State Head Ts.Elbegdorj left for the United Kingdom to attend an opening ceremony of the London Olympic Games.
Ts.Elbegdorj has been invited as the "VIP" guest alongside state heads of other countries. He is being accompanied by E.Badar-Uugan, a State Honored Sportsman and Olympic champion, and D.Choijamts, Hamba Lama of the Gandantegchilen monastery.
The opening ceremony will be attended by state heads of 120 countries, including Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany; Yoshihiko Noda, the Premier of Japan; Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the USA, and by some Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
