Main favourite Tsagaanbaatar lost in second round
Mongolian athletes started Olympic games in London unsuccessfully. Main favourite Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar, men’s judo 66 kg has defeated to Colin Oates in second round. In first round Tsagaanbaatar beat Tu Kai Wen from Chinese Taipei.
Tsagaanbaatar, 28, has an Olympic medal, having won bronze in the -60kg class at Athens in 2004.
Another favourite Munkhbat Bundmaa, woman’s judo 52 kg beat Desravine Linouse from Haiti in first round and defeated to Bermoy Acosta Yanet from Cuba in second round.
First day Munkhbat Urantsetseg, woman’s judo 48 kg lost in second round and Davaadorj Tumurkhuleg, men’s judo 60 kg lost in first round.
