STATE SECRETARY MEETS CIDA EXPERT
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs B.Batkhishig received on Thursday Michael Aylward, a senior expert of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) in charge of China and Northeast Asia program affairs.
Mr. Aylward spoke about a preparation for a long-term project to be co-implemented by the CIDA and the State Service Council with an aim to support a reform of public service.
Mr. Batkhishig said the Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation have been widening, and put forward a proposal to realize a scholarship program for students majoring in mining, agriculture, engineering and bio-technology. This matter has been backed by the Canadian side.
