B.BAATARZORIG MEETS REPS OF TAIPEI

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A Vice Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, B.Baatarzorig received the representatives of Taipei, Taiwan, on May 30.

B.Baatarzorig noted that Ulaanbaatar "has a lot to learn from Taipei's experience, and especially wants to cooperate in creating industry-technology park and in developing small- and medium-sized businesses".
The collaboration between Ulaanbaatar and Taipei has been developing year from year, a trade turnover reached 70 million US dollars, besides, many Mongolian state officials and medical doctors have retrained and businessmen have attended economic forums and meetings, and 40 policemen and 60 court officials have increased their qualifications in Taiwan, moreover, 500 students are studying in Taiwan, one third of whom are on scholarship, Baatarzorig said.

The delegation has arrived to take part in the Ulaanbaatar-Taipei economic forum that started on May 30.
