STATE SECRETARY MEETS AMBASSADORS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs B.Batkhishig received on Wednesday Mr. Obiols, the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Mongolia who has recently presented his diplomatic credentials to the State Head.

They shared views on widening the bilateral relations and cooperation and on expanding the trade and economic collaboration.

Mr. Obiols mentioned that he is being accompanied by businessmen of biggest entities, and said they want to develop the cooperation with Mongolia in many spheres such as production of renewable energy, strategic planning, financial management and urban development.

In response, B.Batkhishig underlined that for the two countries is important to seek cooperation opportunities, and hoped that the Mongolia-Spain relations and cooperation will enhance in times of office term of Mr. Obiols.

The same day, the State Secretary met Mr. Blaise Godet, the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Mongolia in connection with completion of his diplomatic mission.

B.Batkhishig expressed thanks to the Swiss Ambassador for his effort to deepen the Mongolia-Switzerland relations and cooperation.

The sides underlined that the bilateral relations and cooperation have been expanding, and noted about many fruitful projects and programs implemented by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) for reducing poverty rate, supporting rural development and creating job places.

Mr. Godet invited the State Secretary to participate in a regular consultative meeting of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs to be held in October of 2012.
