CERTIFICATES GRANTED TO CANDIDATES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Sunday, the candidates from the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) were granted certificates by S.Batbold PM, chairman of the MPP; and U.Khurelsukh, the MPP secretary-general. The candidates have established e related contracts as well.
The Premier S.Batbold addressed the candidates saying the MPP deserves to say that it has done its works in accordance with the election program for 2008 and has purposes and goals for this year's election. He hopes that the Mongolians will enjoy the confidence of the party.
S.Batbold went on that the MPP has announced 76 candidates, 16 of them are women--ten to run in the election by the proportional system, six--by the majority system. He underlined a generation under 45 years makes up a 51 per cent of the total candidates.
Mentioning that the MPP has been a leading party since the independence of Mongolia, S.Batbold said their party will adhere to a policy to support the human development. "The country's economic growth, which reached 17.2 per cent last year, must continue, besides, a principle must be maintained to equally distribute natural resources," he said. In order to realize them, the MPP has worked out a program for 2012-2016 having discussed it with 220 thousand members and supporters and received opinions from more than one million people. "This program will be our election program," he said.
