MPRP and MNDP holding debate on teachers
The Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) and the Mongolian National Democratic Party (MNDP) are jointly holding a debate called “The Value of Teachers” in the Government House on Thursday.
Representatives of secondary school teachers, MPRP Chairman N.Enkhbayar, MNDP Chairman M.Enkhsaikhan, and other officials are taking part in the debate. The two parties also sent invitations to officials from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
Participants will read papers on the themes “To motivate national development in way to increase teaching standards;” “Globalization and national education structure;” and “The role of teachers in developing a skilled state with moral members who can develop society.”
Organizers plan to debate ways to increase teaching standards, keep teachers’ salaries in line with inflation, and determine state policies that focus on teachers’ issues. After the debate, delegates will issue recommendations.
