MP Z.Enkhbold to appeal to political parties
MP Z.Enkhbold, the head of the NGO “Democratic Forces Union,” spoke with our correspondent at a meeting of the organization in the Government House on Friday.
“Democratic Forces Union” was established two years ago. Z.Enkhbold said delegates from all 21 aimags and nine districts of the capital attended the meeting, and they are becoming active because parliamentary and local settlement elections will be held this year.
He said the organization would like to see candidates with a democratic ideology run for office, but the organization is not a political party, so it cannot issue an election platform. Therefore, it will issue an appeal to political parties that can issue election platforms.
Delegates were also to discuss Ulaanbaatar’s air pollution problem and housing shortage. MP Z.Enkhbold said Mongolia’s economy is strong enough to provide apartments that are at least 40 square meters.
