ABOUT CONSTRUCTION OF AUTO ROADS AND BRIDGES
Some 311 billion togrogs are required to run 598.6 km roads. About it and others was said by the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development Ts.Dashdorj at a regular meeting of the cabinet on Wednesday.
By beginning of this year, paved roads have been run between the city and Arkhangai, Khentii, Gobisumber, Ovorkhangai, Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, Orkhon, Bulgan and Tov aimags. A work to connect by roads Bayankhongor, Gobi-Altai, Khovd, Bayan-Olgii, Dundgobi and Dornogobi with the capital city is going with 14-90 percent, he said.
Last year, more than one thousand km roads and 414.3 meters concrete bridges were put into spending money from the state budget, foreign assistance, loans and other sources. A construction of 741 km roads in six routes will be done until the next year, provided that the money is repaid from the state budget, he went on.
This year, 2,919.4 km paved roads and 3,465.3 m concrete bridges will be run, and 880.8 km roads and 569.4 m bridges will be put into use.
According to the law on budget for 2012, MNT 346.9 billion has been placed in the Minister’s package for implementing these and other projects and actions.
After this, the cabinet ordered the Minister to work out proposals needed and submit them to the cabinet meeting.
