Team from U.S. Congress visits Bayanzurkh district

A U.S. Congressional team now on a visit to Mongolia as part of the “Partners in Democracy” program visited Bayanzurkh district yesterday and met with managing officials and citizens there. They asked citizens what they felt about the work of the representatives they elect to Parliament and the local assembly. They also wanted to know what people thought of the proposed changes in the election system.

Members of the team asked the managing officials about the relations between the local administration and Government organizations at the national level.
