Mongolian People’s Inspection Committee Demonstrates against the Authorities

On June 8th “Mongolian People’s Inspection Committee” held a protest gathering at the Central Square. Lead by D.Ninj over 20 protesters gathered at Sukhbaatar Square, where they put up a podium and amplifier to speak their mind.

Head of the protesters D. Ninj said: “We have some difficulties to carry on the protest. The companies who support us have been threatened.

Many non-governmental organizations are aligning with the protest. “Mongolian Green Coalition” movement officially informed to join us. We won’t stop our demonstration. “She emphasized.

Moreover protesters were calling out people that it was time to speak their mind bravely like Inner Mongolians do. Then after their speeches, the demonstrators delivered an ultimatum to the authorities.

Their demand is the demission of the parliament and government within 48 hours. They are also insisting corrupted authorities to stop leasing mining fields to foreigners. In addition, they are demanding authorities to visiting foreign countries and make business trips overseas until they respond to their demands.

The protesters put an ultimatum demanding a response within 48 hours.

During the aggregation, we asked for some clarification from the leader of the “Mongolian People’s Inspection Committee” D.Ninj.

-What if the authorities won’t respond?

-The government is taking away from people too much. This is our last time ultimatum. If they disregard our concerns and demands, 47 thousand people who are supporting and signed our petition will demonstrate. Most Mongolians are criticizing the governmental operations. So Mongolia is about to face a revolution. I have experience in organizing revolutions. Our duty is to inspect the authorities and we pointed this in the ultimatum.

-Could you explain what you mean by authority inspection? -Authorities must have no secrets from the people. They have to reveal their properties. Property revelation is what we inspect.
