Social insurance sector in figures
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first 11 months of 2010, 556.8 thousand people were registered as insurer, of which 342.7 thousand or 61.6 per cent were those from the establishments, and 214.1 thousand or 38.4 per cent from the public administration institutions.
Total amount of pensions allocated from the social insurance fund reached MNT 322.9 billion in the first 11 months of 2010, out of which retirement pensions accounted for 73.6 per cent, pensions for the disabled 12.6 percent, breadwinner loss pension 7.1 per cent, and military pension 6.7 percent.
In the first 11 months of 2010, social welfare pensions and benefits were allocated for 55.7 thousand people increasing 1.2 thousand people or 2.2 per cent against the same period of 2009. The total amount of the allocated fund was up by MNT 1.9 billion or 8.3 per cent.
From the beginning of this year, the Human development fund started allocating MNT 120.0 thousand to every citizen, and in the first 11 months of 2010 a total of MNT 228.6 billion were distributed to 2.6 million people.
