State prizes awarded
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decree of the Mongolia's President Ts.Elbegdorj, some foremost media workers were awarded Wednesday with state prizes for their significant contributions to strengthening valuables of democratic society and developing free journalism.
The Red Flag Order of Labor Merit has been bestowed upon B.Indra, an editor of the "Mongol Messenger" English language newspaper at the MONTSAME news agency.
The North Star Order has been awarded to S.Altantsetseg, an editor of the "Khumuun bichig" newspaper at the MONTSAME agency; Ts.Oyundari, a director of the Mongolian National Public Television (MNPT); and other foremost ones. In addition to it, the Honorary Medal of Labor went to other journalists and media workers.
