Mongolian ambassador presents credentials
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Greece Ts.Gankhuyag presented Wednesday his diplomatic credentials to Karolos Papoulias, the President of Greece.
Present at the ceremony were Ioannis Panaretos, Greece's deputy minister of education; K.Georgiu, secretary to the President; Charalampos Dafaranos, director of the President's diplomatic service; Lieutenant General, Dimitrios Mandilis, director of the President's military service; D.Ganbold, a counselor of Mongolia's Embassy, others.
The Ambassador has conveyed a greeting of Mongolia's President to Mr. Karolos Papoulias. Ts.Gankhuyag has said he will make all efforts to deepen the bilateral relations and cooperation in all spheres especially in the political, economic, cultural and educational sectors, and noted Mongolia will celebrate the 2,220th anniversary of the first state of Mongolia.
In response, the Greek President has mentioned that the relations and cooperation between Greece and Mongolia--great history makers--shall be widened, and underlined an importance of the Ambassador's role in forwarding the ties. He has conveyed his sincere greeting to his Mongolian counterpart Ts.Elbegdorj.
