Globo Shows Set for Mongolian Broadcast
SÃO PAULO: Each year over the next three years, 150 hours of programming from Globo TV International will be aired in Mongolia on the free-to-air channel Mongol TV.
The first title to air is Pages of Love, which tells the story of Nanda (Fernanda Vasconcellos, Forbidden Desire), daughter of Alex (Marcos Caruso), a sensitive and dedicated father, and of Marta (Lilia Cabral), a woman who is bitter with life. Nanda travels to Amsterdam before finding out that she is pregnant yet loses the support of her boyfriend and must return to Brazil. She dies in a tragic car accident, but a doctor, Helena, is able to save her two recently born children, Francisco and Clara, who is born with Down Syndrome. Marta accepts Francisco but rejects Clara, giving her up for adoption. Helena adopts Clara without the family's knowledge, but soon the child's real father surfaces.
